Onto the second Week

So wow, it has already been almost two weeks! That feels crazy to me, especially because there feels like there is so much more work this semester. And travelling. There is so much more individual travelling, apposed to last semester where most of the travelling was with the school. We have a lot of free weekends that in regular university would be lapped up as work time. But in ISC mode free weekends mean more places to see. So far on the definate is London next weekend and Dublin at the end of the month, Paris and Brussels with the school, Berlin with the German class and Malta with a bunch of people in March. BATHING SUIT WILL BE USED!!! Yes swimming is available on the 25 degree heat island with lots of beach to run around in. Dublin should be crazy, London even this weekend should be crazy. Whats even crazier is how I am going to write my history paper in between this all. It'll work out, I have part of this weekend and almost all of the weekend after!

Okay so story time, a couple of days ago I walked into my room. Now this sounds normal but what happened this one time I entered my room is I saw my roomie keeping the door open with one foot and with her hands, wiping something on my bed. Turns out she had accidentally spilled a plate of curry on the end of my bed. Now not her fault, she probs tripped on my shoes or spilled it as she was opening the door, but still, a freak accident that would happen to me. Turns out it only got on the duvet and in a couple of my shoes and somehoe on the wall. She had already managed to get it off the walls and was going to run and soak the duvet in the laundry room sink, so I cleaned out my shoes. My only outcry on this occurence is that when I went to ask reception about getting a duvet they said I would have to wait for housekeeping who werent coming in until the next day. Reception was very nice about it, but still you would think they would have some sort of rule or emergency duvet or something, I dunno. Anywho I got Angie's origional duvet for the night because she has two (she bought herself one). The next day I had class so I had no opportunity to go to housekeeping. But apparently they stopped by the room and dumped a duvet cover on my bed and said here you go while Angie was still in bed, leaving before she had an opportunity to tell them I needed the duvet part too. So that is the challenge for today as I would rather not use the same duvet unless it had been actually washed. Apparently the smell is out, but I dont think it will be really out until it is washed. Gah, housekeeping can be really impatient, I mean I sure they are nice people, but they get really offended and impatient really easily. There are a couple that dont, that are really nice, but most of the ones I encounter are. Alas the day I will receive my OWN duvet. Hee, silly thing, but I really do want my own duvet.

The other day when I was uploading my daily picture up here in the computer lab I heard a saxaphone (I think thats what it is called) being played somewhere outside, but could not figure out where it was coming from. Eventually the other girl in here looked outside and saw that it was one of our students walking outside in the parking lot of Bader playing the sax, and very well I should add. It seemed very random, but a good kind of random. I love it things surprise you like that, just a little something extra to make you look and around and say "cool".

I go to London starting Friday to Sunday, so lets hope I have a few fun adventures. Oh and I finally get to see Les Miserables!
