So I have unpacked and am now all snugged in and organised. I really do like being organised, not perfectly everything in perfect order, just things placed where I need them and where I can find them. Not too eventful of a week really. This semester I am taking the second half of English and History. I am taking the second half of German and Art History too, though I think I am going to enjoy Art History immensely more as it is work from 1700 to present. All mostly stuff I tend to care more about. Then I have also taken up Moral Issues, which is basically talking about moral issues. I might not go the week they talk about abortion depending on how I inturpret the classes debating techniques. I have had enough screem crying arguments about abortion to last me a life time and I am not going to put myself into a position where I am going to have to face that again. I can understand other peoples points of views and I wont get angry at you for having a different opinion. Its all in how you express that opinion and how open or closed minded you are to other peoples opinions. And I find especially with abortion people can beb especially rude and closed minded.
Sorry about the rant. Anywho I am also thinking of sitting in on Human Geography for the semester depending on how much time I have. It looks really interesting but more work than I can handle this semester especially since this is the semester of travel. I am already planning a trip to Dublin, Berlin and Malta with friends. We are also thinking of Norway (Katie speaks Norwegan!), Amsterdam and/or Dusseldorf Germany. Also a London weekend in a coule weeks. The others are really good at finding inexpensive flights and hostels so the only overboard trip is going to be Berlin, but thats because its organised by the school.
I thought I should also let you know that I am now doing this project where I take a picture of myself a day and put it on Flickr. There is also usually a blurb about my day and the picture there too. These pictures will be as creative as I can handle with the little equipment I have as well as showing around the place I live in and expressing how I feel or what I am doing that day. Here is the link if you are intersted: http://www.flickr.com/photos/libbyaskin/
I hope you enjoy and I hope to have actual stories for you soon!
