Purpose of this blog

So if random people happen to read this blog, not just my friends and family, I thought I should explain what is going on since my first post would really confuse people.

So basically I am going to Queens University, but instead of going to the regular campus, I am going to England to study there for a year. I started making this instead of a journal, to remember everything that happens and to let my friends and family understand what is going on with me while I am in a different country. I hope to have some great adventures during the next few months, even if I don't I am sure it will still be an experience worth remembering.

England in 4 days

So there are four days until I leave my place of origin, my abode for the past 18 years, four months and 17 days. Technically i've only lived in my current house for 14 years, four months and around 20ish days...but really who's counting? I personally try never to count above a marked number in a single day, too much for my linguistic mind.

OK, so on to the interesting stuff eh? I actually love packing and unpacking. OK, so maybe not the interesting stuff quite yet, but its true, I love packing. Lugging the packing around...not so much, but the actual packing part is fun. Why? Because you get to go through every single piece of your wardrobe and decide, what deserves my interest for this trip. In this case, most of it since I will be gone 4 months before I come home and then I'm off again 3 weeks later for another 4 months. And what do you wear in England? Lots of layers I am told and remember from my last visite. Although I do remember the day I went to London and the temperature was decidedly 30 degrees and I had decidedly worn a very short jean dress. We then proceeded to take an open top bus tour of London with black vinyl (should that be the right material, but I think your know what I am talking about) and not a cloud in sight. I recomend the tour, but not the dress.

Anywho, so...oh ya, packing. Today is the day I start packing and tomorow is hopefully the day I semi-comlpete it (though I doubt it). I will hopefully have some more adventurous stories in the up-coming days. Though not too interesting in terms of the airport. I really want that part to go at leat semi-smoothly.

au revoir pour maintenant
